Marketing Account Executive Position

The Marketing Account Executive works closely in a team environment with producers, senior account executives and client managers who are focused on the customer relationship and ongoing customer service.   

The Marketing Account Executive is focused primarily on managing insurance carrier relationships and supporting the team with obtaining appropriate coverage terms for customers.  Duties include:

  • Maintaining close relationships with our insurance carrier partners.
  • Working with the team to develop appropriate coverage and program design for each customer.
  • Preparing applications and specifications.
  • Marketing and negotiating coverage with insurance carriers.
  • Analyzing quotations.
  • Assisting in preparing the proposal for the customer.
  • Assisting in presenting proposals to customers.
  • Providing the team with accurate binding information so they may properly invoice, issue certificates of insurance, etc. in a timely basis.

Experience & Background

  • Positive relationships with major insurance carriers and background in negotiating insurance programs with insurance carriers.
  • Proven ability to review insurance policies and make recommendations for any needed changes.
  • Property & Casualty expertise is required but will also assist in coordinating executive liability and cyber coverages with coverage experts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or experience plus an insurance designation such as CIC, ARM, CPCU, etc. is required.
  • Possesses an active property/casualty insurance license.

Location

This position will primarily support our Charlotte market but may on occasion assist other offices.  A candidate located in the Charlotte area is preferred but candidates with strong backgrounds in other cities will also be strongly considered.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid work position working in an office a few days a week but with opportunity to also work from home if desired.

Travel

Travel is light with a focus primarily on local insurance carrier and customer meetings.  Overnight travel, however, may be required on occasion.
